Fight to the Fumble, and a Entire Whole lot A lot more, and PS3 Madden 10

With a high-intensity soundtrack, PS3 Madden 10 players will get even more for their gaming dollar. Soundtracks have become synonymous with the games themselves, especially the Madden series. PS3 Madden 10's soundtrack brings the right level of intensity, as well as a great mix of newer and older songs ("older" being a relative term here, of course). If you're not convinced, check out PS3 Madden 10's roster of songs: "Can't C Me" by 2Pac, "Heads are Gonna Roll" by Airbourne, "Them Bones" by Alice in Chains, "Created a Monster" by B.o.B, "Revolution" by Bang Camaro, "Sabotage" by Beastie Boys, "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, "Get 'Em Up" by Cypress Hill, "Unsung" by Helmet, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Painkiller" by Judas Priest, "I Am the Bullgod" by Kid Rock, "Reckoning" by Killswitch Engage, "Blind" by Korn, "Divinations" by Mastodon, "Hate Me Now" by Nas featuring Puff Daddy, "Breed" by Nirvana, "Walk" by Pantera, "Shut 'Em Down" by Public Enemy, "Guerrilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine, "Gaia Bleeds (Make Way for Man)" by Set Your Goals, "Duality" by Slipknot, "Sugar" by System of a Down, "Before I Die" by The Vanity Plan," and "Cheah Beah" by Young Dre The Truth.

If that ain't enough to sell you on PS3 Madden 10, maybe a history lesson will help. Sure, it's questionable to praise today's games simply by damning yesterday's. But when you look at the old versus the new, you can truly appreciate the epic nature of PS3 Madden 10. At the dawn of video game consoles, one of the top requests from every hardcore gamer was a football video game for their system, naturally. Only thing was, video game consoles and cartridges didn't have the capabilities to match the needs of the typical hardcore gamer, so everyone had to take what they could get. To try to generate excitement, the creators of this one insisted it featured "all the excitement" of actual football. Competition was nonexistent, so this one was a huge hit for the biggest video game console in the day.

The football players look like blocky little robots. There's no getting around that one As crude-looking as that picture is, it's even worse when you see the game in action. This one, like all early games, suffered from the "blinking graphics" syndrome, due to low programming capacity. The sound effects were just brutal. No scrolling screen, either. Within a couple years, things would pick up slightly, with a competing console developing a football video game. It was yards better than that first one - people looked a bit more like people, the players no longer flickered, and gamers got their scrolling screen. But it was still nothing too impressive.

That one caused a huge sensation upon its arrival to the video game world, and while it set a (slightly) higher standard, this wasn't the foundation for football video games to be built on. More time would pass in order for that to transpire. This next one, coming out for the next generation of game consoles at the end of the 80s, was a sensation, and still beloved today. This one held the top spot for football video game fans forever.

Makes sense that it was so revered by the hardcore gamer - it really was the first true attempt to recreate the NFL. Graphics and sound were vastly improved, so for many years, this was the video football game. Judging by its online revival, people still enjoy it today in small doses. Yet, it's still a poor man's PS3 Madden 10. When you've seen all the rest, now take a look at the best. Yes, technology has been good to the video game world in general, and the football video game has benefitted from it all. But there's no purpose in ragging on the early games. You get it. The older football video games served a purpose, and set the stage for bigger, better sports video games. Gamers are happy, and with good cause - PS3 Madden 10 really kicked this one through the goal posts. But it's not just the hardcore gamers that are loving this one - the critics have weighed in, and they give it the thumbs up. Reviews for PS3 Madden 10 are filled with praise such as "realistic and enjoyable." Once again, EA Sports makes a win with PS3 Madden 10 - was there any doubt?

No doubt, PS3 Madden 10 is the real sport of champions, and don't let some douchebag tell you otherwise. Not to disparage the other PlayStation sports video games - they're all pretty excellent in their own right, but PS3 Madden rules the playing field. For many, this is the PlayStation football game by which all others are measured. And it's where they separate the men from the boys, by letting you duke it out for some serious cash.

Now, PlayStation Madden 10 fans can go toe-to-toe and play video games for money. Once you do your homework and study the playbook, you'll be in the end zone scoring points and making your rivals weep as you empty out their bank accounts.
